Graveyard Dogs is a period film taking place in 1840’s Pre-Civil War South. In the depths of the pre-Civil War South, the blossoming romance between a slave and the son of her owner is threatened by the mystery of the mangled corpses of runaway slaves that are collecting in the woods. The genre is Southern Gothic Plantation Horror. The brief was to design a movie poster that was dark and engaging whilst relying heavily on the images of the trees and woods.
